Canes C.R.E.W. promotes respect, kindness and appreciation for everyone on campus.  C.R.E.W stands for Canes Respecting Everyone's Worth. the club participates in activities throughout the school year that show students and school personnel how much they are appreciated.  Most importantly, Canes C.R.E.W. encourage friendships between regular education students and students with disabilities.

Chess Club members to learn, practice, and sharpen chess playing skills.  They will gain friendships while making merciless attacks and takedowns!  Members enjoy competitive tournaments for all skill levels, quad tournaments and speed tournaments.

All students who are interested in the French  language and culture can apply to be part of the French Club. Members enjoy the French experience through language, food, fun and games.  We meet before school in room 312 (8:20) the first Tuesday of every month.

Future Farmers of America is for students who are currently enrolled in agriscience at the junior high level. It is a youth organization that allows its members to travel, compete in contests and events, and develop leadership skills along the way. Members can compete in contests throughout the school year. Members can also attend camps and conventions in the summer time. FFA members work closely with other FFA members from other schools throughout St. Tammany Parish and around the state.

The Helping Hands Club is a service club that serves to improve our school and community.  Membership is open to students in the FJH Family and Consumer Science classes.

The Horticulture Club provides a great way for students to learn about gardening gaining hands-on experience growing their own food and tasting the fruits (and vegetables) of their labor.

Library Club members volunteer in the library. They check in and out books, organize the stacks, assist the librarian, and give book recommendations to students.

National Junior Honor Society seeks to create enthusiasm for scholarship, to stimulate a desire to render service, to promote worthy leadership, and to encourage the development of character and citizenship in the students of Fontainebleau Junior High School.

Next Gen wants students to grow in their faith and find their purpose in God. Everyone is invited for Fellowship 
every Wednesday in the gym before school.

The Fontainebleau Junior High Print Club is for students wanting to learn more about the creation of visual art prints. We believe in the expression of every club members' unique ideas and the development of a safe haven for all who wish to create art through the exploration of printmaking mediums. 

Characteristics of a FBJH Printmaker: 

- Highly motivated - self starter

- Responsible - on time & takes care of supplies/tools

- Respectful - treats everyone with compassion 

- Willingness to learn new things - not afraid to try something they have never done before 

- Craftsmanship - the overall cleanliness of the work produced

Project 7 Club is student-led and -driven opportunities for students to participate in a spiritually inspired, relationship-oriented, community-serving project at school. Everyone is invited to join.

Spanish Club raises interest in the Hispanic Culture and provides an opportunity to speak Spanish in an informal setting. Each student is given a chance to explore and learn about the Spanish world.

Tri-M is a great way for music students to learn more about different fields of music, and develop leadership skills to help them succeed in any area of life.  Tri-M requires that students keep a B average in all classes and will include music related service hours and events. Tri-M is a well-recognized club that students can participate in throughout high school.
 

Sponsor Mrs. Williams

Students will take part in creating the yearbook by taking photographs, interviewing students and teachers for stories, quotes and polls, and assisting in planning the overall design of the yearbook. This experience will allow for opportunities of leadership, teamwork, and creativity.
