PROCEDURES AND REGULATIONS FOR LIBRARY

Use your Student ID to check out books.

Maximum of three books may be checked out.

May check out books for 2 weeks. May renew for 2 additional weeks.

Overdue fines are 5 cents per day per book.

No food, gum, candy or drinks are allowed in the library.

The library will begin selling school supplies on Monday, October 3rd.  The Canes Cart will have the following items for sale.

Loose leaf - $1.00
Graphing paper $2.00
Staplers $2.50
Highlighters $0.75
Pens $0.50
Pencils $0.25
Colored pencils $1.00
Poster board $0.50
Index cards $0.50
Pocket folders $0.50
Pencil sharpeners $0.50
Flash drives $7.00

 

Hours: 8:15 a.m. - 3:50 p.m. (or later on request) Students may come before school and during lunch to check out, return and renew books; to research; to study or to read.

Collection: Over 13,000 books including Reading Counts books and quizzes.

Scheduling:  All reading classes come to the library every other week.  During this time they are taught library skills and they have an opportunity to check out books.

Recycle for Generations

Please help the library raise funds by recyling the following items: cell phones, inkjet cartridges, laptops, iPods, digital cameras, laser cartridges, GPS devices, PDAs, DVDs, and video games and consoles. Just drop off your old electronics at the FJH Library.
