October was an excellent month for FJH. Our students
completed the first nine weeks and are looking forward to the upcoming
holiday season. A tremendous thank you goes to our students and
staff, who contributed over $3600.00 to the United Way Fund drive
this year. A special thanks to Ms. Gayle Weber for heading up the
United Way committee. They did a great job in organizing the effort!
The generosity shown to this worthy cause will do much to continue
serving the needs of our community.
Congratulations on a great season by the FJH Lady Canes Volleyball
team! They won the Division I Jr. High Championship and a terrific
job was done by both students and coaches.
Our annual Veteran’s Day program will occur on November
5th, and will be broadcast to the entire school on November 11th.
We believe our veterans’ sacrifices were incredibly important
in achieving all we have today, and we’re looking forward
to honoring them for their contributions to our freedom. If you
are a veteran and live in the FJH community, we’d love to
have you as a guest on our program. Please call Mrs. Scoriels at
875-7501 if you are interested.
Please continue to use the FJH website and your child’s
TeacherWeb pages (and student planners) to stay current with what’s
happening in class. When you combine attention to the web pages
and STI Home, you’ll get a great sense of all that your child
is accomplishing. Call us anytime you have any questions regarding
issues.
Have a wonderful Thanksgiving!
