EXTREMELY IMPORTANT INFORMATION PERTAINING TO UPCOMING STANDARDIZED TESTING:

It is extremely important that 8th grade students attend school on Tuesday, March 23 for Phase I of testing. The State Dept. of Education has announced that anyone absent for testing and unable to do make-ups on Mar. 24th and 25th must have a note from a doctor stating that they were too ill to attend school and test. The note must be on the doctor’s letterhead and must have the doctor’s signature, not a nurse’s. The signature must be handwritten, not a stamp.

If the student is unable to test during Phase I and has an appropriate letter from the doctor, the student will be allowed to take Phase I of LEAP during the week of Phase 2 testing. No exceptions will be allowed. Any student without the doctor’s note will not be allowed to make up Phase I. They will get a zero on that part which could cause them to fail the LEAP test.

Students are to bring in items for the departmental/club baskets to be part of the silent auction. All proceeds from these particular baskets go back to the specific departments/clubs. All other money generated from the auction goes to the FJH Technology Fund.
